Learn to Play the Electronic Organ | Expert Organ Lessons & Tuition
Master a Truly Unique & Powerful Instrument
The electronic organ is an absolute powerhouse of an instrument. It isn't just about playing melodies; it’s about becoming a one-person orchestra. With multiple keyboards (manuals), a pedalboard for your feet, and a vast array of built-in rhythms, accompaniments, and tone colours, the organ offers a musical experience unlike anything else. Whether you are entirely new to the keys or a pianist looking to conquer the incredible coordination required for the organ, our expert tuition at Consort Music, Arts & Events Group will help you unlock its full potential.
Coordination, Independence, and Complete Control
Playing the electronic organ is a fantastic workout for the musical brain. We will teach you how to read dual-stave sheet music, manage the rhythm and accompaniment sections, and develop the independence to play basslines with your feet while your hands handle the melody and chords. Our engaging organ lessons cover everything from classical and theatre organ techniques to jazz, pop, and easy listening.
Our Approach: Fun, Relaxed, and No-Pressure Teaching
We know that sitting behind a large electronic organ with dozens of buttons and pedals can look a bit daunting at first! That is exactly why our teaching philosophy is built entirely on a fun, highly supportive, and positive environment. We champion a relaxed, no-pressure approach, breaking everything down into completely manageable, bite-sized steps. For most of our students, the goal is simply playing for pleasure, and we are dedicated to making every single lesson an enjoyable, rewarding experience.
Exceptional Exam Success (Only If You Choose It!)
While our priority is always the joy of making music, we fully support students who wish to pursue formal graded organ exams. If you do choose to take the exam route, you are in the very best of hands. Across our teaching group, we are incredibly proud of our flawless 30-year, 100% exam pass rate. You set the goal, and we will provide the musical education and encouraging guidance to get you there.
